Made with Love

December 6 – Make.

What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it?

(Author: Gretchen Rubin)

This prompt almost stumped me.

As soon as I saw the word “made,” I began having a mini-meltdown.

I mean, the woman who can barely spell creative is now being asked to share when she was last “crafty” for a post?

Take a chill, Lis. It can mean anything you’d like.

I thought about the last time I made a decision.

Not it.

The last I made a meal.

The last time I made love.

Good god they don’t want to hear THAT.

Oh. 🙂

So the Uni, in all her infinite wisdom sent me a little help through a post by one of my Inspired Maven sisters, Terri, who was writing about what she’s taking away from the challenge.

Introducing the e-book compilation from the graduates of online socialite Sarah Prout’s inaugural Inspired Maven challenge: Inspired Maven: Empowering Advice From Businesswomen!

Coming to a blog near you on December 10, 2010 🙂

Over the last 8 weeks I have had the privilege of connecting with some smart, sassy, and savvy business owners from around the world who have inspired, challenged and supported me on one amazing journey.  Together we have created a product that I believe will encourage people, whether they’re in business for themselves or not, to live their biggest dreams.

As I thought about what it takes to create a product with 17 other people who were strangers to me 8 weeks ago, I wondered if the creative process whether a scrapbook, novel, or dinner, shared some of the same ingredients?

and most importantly…

Those of just some of the “materials” that went into my latest creation and it fits with my mission to help you come out of hiding and trust yourself…completely.    I can’t wait to share it with you.

What was the last thing you made?  And what went into it?
