7 Reasons Why You Don’t Want to Work with Me
If you been on lots of coaching sites, many will include the reasons you should work with them. I thought I take a different approach. Well…’cause I’m just different, I guess.
7 Reasons Why You Don’t Want to Work with Me
1.I’m direct. Yes I am a spiritual coach. Yes, I believe in faeries and woo-woo. But I will tell you what I see. If you’re looking for sugar-coating, I’m not your coach.
2. I have a potty-mouth. (I know you’re shocked.) While I can I actually make a sailor blush, I don’t curse just to get a rise out of you. I will call your sh**, well…sh**. (And back to #1, I will tell you it stinks, too.)
3. I expect you to be committed to your process. I’m not looking to be your coach forever. I won’t beat you up if you don’t do your fieldwork, but you’re investing good money and you deserve (and will receive) the best support I can offer. Coaching isn’t a crutch. I won’t do the work for you. I can’t .
4. I expect honesty. This isn’t a space for you to say what you think I want to hear. This is a space for you to be heard. To be fully supported…without judgment. I’m not here to make you wrong. I’m here to help you get what you say you want.
5. I will make you cry. Trust me on that. I don’t care if you haven’t shed a tear in years. At some point during our time together, you will have an emotional release that will require a tissue (or 10). The ability to really be with whatever you are feeling, no matter how uncomfortable, will set you free. You’ll feel more alive than ever before.
6. I will piss you off. If I’m doing my job, you will have a moment (or 5) where you will actually hate me. That’s progress, baby.
7. I will only see your greatness. Hate to disappoint you, but I think, no, I KNOW you TOTALLY rock. And it won’t be long before, you’ll know it, too. Then, watch out world!
If you got to the end of this post, then I want to meet you! Whether you are looking for some support for 1 hour or 3 months, I’d be honored to be your coach. Send me an email (lmb at coach4divas dot com) or reach out to me on Facebook or Twitter. Let’s spend an hour focused on YOU. I guarantee that you’ll walk away with a fresh perspective and concrete action steps to propel you forward.
YOU ARE WORTH IT!

Can I tell you how much this rocks. (And it’s something I did when I had my pet care company too – outlined all the things that my company didn’t tolerate!)
Oh, and me too. I’m just going to cut and paste this baby on my site. Except the potty mouth. You know I talk like the Queen of effin’ England. Lol.
Love you and love this post!
Yes, I know. The Queen of effin’ England would never make a sailor blush.
I am so thrilled I was stalking you over to LaVonne’s site. This 2500 words/day is unleashing some great stuff. So, in some way, this is your post anyway. LOL.
Love ya’ back.
This is brilliant. You are obviously a genius. I wish I had thought of doing this. Totally had to read it all. Very compelling. I voted for your blog!
OMG! You stopped by. I feel all giddy.
Thank you so much for the blog love, Julia. I’m so honored to have your support. I have learned from you to have more fun and just be myself as I grow my business and continue to evolve on my spiritual journey. You are one magical bean!
I love #6! So true!
Tex!!
My mother was a 3 term mayor (she died early in her 4th term) of my hometown. She used to say if she wasn’t pissin’ somebody off, she wasn’t doing her job.
I’ve had clients actually get in my face and say, “I hate you.” I always smile and say, “Now we can really get to work.”
What’s on tap for your summer?
Lisa you are totally on the money with this one! I can’t argue against one single point because you speak the truth. I have been a witness and receiver of your process and while it can be painful, it is cathartic.
No progress without pain.
Keep it going!
